Jesus School students are invited to join the House of Bethany: Worship Academy. 

This is a sacred space where passionate worshippers can be equipped to grow in their ability to minister to the heart of Jesus while stewarding and discovering their creative gifts. Bethany was a place that Jesus cherished deeply, a place where extravagant and unreserved worship was offered to Him. It became a place of retreat, a place where He loved to spend time.

We are presented with a beautiful opportunity as the people of Jesus to come before Him, learn of Him, and present offerings most pleasing to Him. Our prayer is that this would be a place where Jesus would come and find rest among us.

House of Bethany: Worship Academy is a company of devoted hearts, pouring out their oil upon the Lord — until the fragrance of their worship fills the earth.

Jesus School Students

House of Bethany is an extension of Jesus School. To attend, you must be a current student or have completed 2 years of in-person study at Jesus School.

Online Students

Jesus School Online students who have successfully completed their first year and are actively enrolled in their second year, or have successfully completed first and second year online, are now welcome to apply for House of Bethany.

International Students

We warmly welcome all international students accepted into our Jesus School program in Orlando. Once your M-1 visa is completed and received your M-1 visa process, students can proceed to finalize their remaining forms, and apply to the House of Bethany.

House of Bethany is an extension of Jesus School. The tuition for House of Bethany will be an additional cost to your Jesus School tuition. The total tuition fee is $1,650. We provide payment plans upon your acceptance into House of Bethany. For further details, please consult with our advisors.

House of Bethany is an extension of Jesus School. House of Bethany meets every Thursday after worship from 12:30pm-4:00pm.

Online Students

Jesus School Online students who have successfully completed their first year and are actively enrolled in their second year, or have successfully completed first and second year online, are now welcome to apply for House of Bethany.

Returning students

At this time, we do not offer a second year in the program. However, students are welcome to return to their previous department or explore a different one. If you have any questions or need assistance with your options, feel free to reach out!

International Students

We warmly welcome all international students accepted into our Jesus School program in Orlando. Once your M-1 visa is completed and received your M-1 visa process, students can proceed to finalize their remaining forms, and apply to the House of Bethany.

Pastor Michael Koulianos

Michael Koulianos is the co-founder of Jesus Image, Jesus Image Church, and Jesus School in Orlando, Florida. Michael and his wife, Jessica, steward a burning desire to win cities, nations, and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through their faithful leadership, Jesus Image has seen thousands saved and healed by the mighty power of God. 

Michael has authored several books, including The Jesus Book, Jesus 365, He is Risen, Jesus Kids Curriculum, Holy Spirit, and Healing Presence. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in theology at Regent University. 

Michael and Jessica reside in Orlando with their three children. When he isn’t teaching at Jesus School, he is playing golf or fishing.

Jessica Koulianos

Jessica Koulianos is the Director of Jesus School and co-founder of Jesus Image alongside her husband, Michael Koulianos. She leads with deep authenticity and a desire to see each student experience new levels of breakthrough and live in undivided devotion to the Lord. 

Jessica is currently pursuing a master’s degree in theology at Regent University. She and Michael reside in Orlando, Florida, with their three children.

Steffany Gretzinger

Steffany Gretzinger is a singer, songwriter, and worship leader. She has been used by the Holy Spirit to usher millions of hearts to the feet of Jesus. She grew up in a household that stewarded the presence of the Lord that marked her life, and she is passionate about teaching others to carry a pure heart of worship that ministers solely to the Lord. Steffany is married to Stephen, and they have two children.

Courtenay Vandiver Pereira

Coordinator of House of Bethany 

Courtenay Vandiver Pereira is the coordinator of House of Bethany: Worship Academy. As a gifted teaching artist, cellist, psalmist, songwriter, composer, and producer, she has a heart for ministering to the Lord and helping others follow the Holy Spirit in worship. For the past ten years, she has poured her heart and gifts into Jesus Image, serving the ministry through worship, songwriting and teaching music. 

Acclaimed by The Boston Globe as “an expert player” and praised by The Star-Ledger for her “wonderful technique and creamy sound,” Courtenay has performed on some of the world’s most celebrated stages, including Carnegie Hall, Vienna’s Musikverein, and Leipzig’s Gewandhaus. Her international performances have also taken her to the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic, among other countries.

Courtenay formerly served as principal cellist of the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra and Mercury Chamber Orchestra and as guest principal cellist with Houston Ballet. During her years in Houston, she was a member of ROCO and performed with Houston Grand Opera. She is also a founding member of the Grammy-nominated, Boston-based ensemble A Far Cry, with which she participated in residencies at New England Conservatory and Kneisel Hall.

A devoted chamber musician, Courtenay has performed with the St. Petersburg, Borromeo, and Jupiter String Quartets. Her collaborators have included Donald Weilerstein, Roger Tapping, Ronald Leonard, Steven Dann, and Natasha Brofsky. She has appeared at Ravinia, Yellow Barn, the Sarasota Music Festival, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Leipzig Bachfest, and the New York String Orchestra Seminar.

Courtenay’s music has also carried the message of Jesus far beyond the concert hall. She performed for Billy Graham’s final My Hope campaign, televised to millions across the United States and Canada. Her album, Journey to Light, has been heard on iTunes, Spotify, and radio stations around the world, including in refugee camps throughout the Middle East.

Some of Courtenay’s most meaningful work has involved sharing music with children and vulnerable communities. She has taught refugee children from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico and shared her music with students with special needs. She also created Project I Hear You, an initiative that brought music to young girls who had survived sex trafficking in the United States and abroad. The project received government grant funding in recognition of its mission and impact.

Courtenay earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New England Conservatory, graduating with Academic and Artistic Distinction. She studied under Laurence Lesser and Paul Katz and performed in masterclasses with Heinrich Schiff, Frans Helmerson, Pieter Wispelwey, and Christoph Henkel. Her formative teachers also included Shirley Trepel, former principal cellist of the Houston Symphony, and Myung-Wha Chung.

Courtenay began teaching in her teenage years, and her dedication to music education has shaped much of her life and career. She spent many years teaching with Project STEP at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, a program that expands access to classical music for students from historically underrepresented communities. She is certified by the State of Texas to teach choir, band, and orchestra from kindergarten through twelfth grade. During her time as a public-school music teacher, her orchestra received the State Honor Orchestra designation, the highest distinction awarded to public-school orchestra programs in Texas. She has also served as Artistic Director of House of Cello and as cello coach for the Houston Youth Symphony for many years. She currently plays a D. Nicolas Aine A Le Ville De Cremonne cello from circa 1875.

Courtenay is a recipient of the Yellow Rose of Texas presented by former Governor Ann Richards through the Office of the Governor. This honor recognizes women whose exceptional service has made a significant contribution to the State of Texas.

Courtenay and her husband, Sabata currently live in Orlando, Florida. Before moving to Orlando, Courtenay was faithful to her local church in Southeast Texas for fourteen years. She joyfully served on the worship team by leading through singing, playing cello, keys, and music directing. Yet beyond every achievement and role—whether teaching, performing, composing, or leading worship—her desire remains the same: to know nothing except for Christ and Christ crucified.

David Steele

David Steele is a worship leader and songwriter with a passion for cultivating purity in worship and prioritizing the presence of the Lord among His people. As an instructor at House of Bethany: Worship Academy, he desires to help students grow as worshipers who love Jesus deeply and lead others into wholehearted devotion to Him.

David has been leading worship for more than twenty years and has spent over a decade in full-time ministry, pastoring worship leaders and building worship teams across multiple churches. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Theological Studies with a minor in Worship Ministry from Southeastern University. He was ordained as an associate pastor of Jesus Image Church in 2025.

David and his wife, Eleasha, reside in Orlando, Florida, with their three children.

Tiffany Hudson

Tiffany Hudson is a worship leader, singer, and songwriter with a heart to see the Church walk in purity and prepare the Bride for the return of Jesus. She is a member of Elevation Worship and serves as a worship leader at Elevation Church. Above all, Tiffany is passionate about leading people to Jesus and encouraging them to find their true reward in Him. Tiffany and her husband, Mait, live in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their child. 

Lindy Cofer

Lindy Cofer is a missionary, singer, songwriter, and worship leader with Circuit Riders, YWAM, and The Send. Alongside her husband, Chase, she is committed to seeing a generation set on fire with love for God and a commitment to simple obedience. They reside in California with their three children. 

Kalley Heiligenthal

Kalley Heiligenthal is a worship leader, speaker, songwriter, and pastor with a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. She has a hunger to see generations rise up in wholeness and freedom. As a storyteller, Kalley desires to model honesty and surrender to Jesus by her words and the story of her life. Kalley and her family spend time in various cities across the United States. 

Mitch Wong

Mitch Wong is a singer, songwriter, and worship leader. He began writing songs as a teenager and quickly developed a passion for it, captivated by the miracle of how atmospheres can shift, lives can change, and faith can break out at the sound of music, melody, and a message. Mitch is passionate about creating music that moves the heart of God and ministers to the Church. Mitch and his wife, Steph, live in Nashville, Tennessee, with their child.

Antonio & Allison Marin

Antonio and Allison Marin are award-winning string artists and a husband-and-wife cello and violin duo. Through their music, Antonio and Allison are passionate about using their gifts to serve the Church and shape the sound of worship around the world. Antonio and Allison are based in Redding, California.

Kathy Frizzel

Kathy Frizzell has decades of experience as a pianist, worship leader, and choir director. Known for her heart for worship and her rich history with the Lord, she has also written numerous songs, including well-known Jesus Image releases like “Dwelling Place” and “Show Me Your Glory.” Her passion for worship and her commitment to leading others into God’s presence have impacted countless lives. Kathy lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is on staff with Wellspring Franklin.
