Each Jesus School course is designed to fulfill our mission to raise up a Jesus People and follow our core values, which we believe are the Lord’s values.

Our Mission

At Jesus School we gather each day to be in the presence of Jesus. Jesus School has one main ambition: to love Him and to see a Jesus People raised up that will shake the earth for the glory of God. Our heart is to see people birthed from Jesus School who will impact the nations of the world with the power and love of the gospel. Success is His presence. Success is pleasing the Lord.

BIBL 101 – First Year
Bible
The Word of God

Course Description
A survey of the Holy Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. Topics include but are not limited to: the Word being divinely inspired, the Word’s power, and how to pray the Word.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) thorough biblical and theological knowledge of Scripture, (2) an accurate understanding of a Jesus hermeneutic–Jesus throughout the Old and New Testaments, and (3) a discipline in the continual, life-long practice of studying the Bible because of a love for the Word of God as the foundation of faith. Through the course readings, class lectures and discussion, and the completion of course assignments, students should be able to fulfill the course objectives.


BIBL 201 – Second Year
Bible
Jesus is the Word

Course Description
A survey of the Holy Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. Topics include, but are not limited to: the point of Scripture, how to pray the Word, and types and shadows of Christ in the Old Testament.

This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) thorough biblical and theological knowledge of Scripture, (2) an accurate understanding of a Jesus hermeneutic–Jesus throughout the Old and New Testaments, and (3) a discipline in the continual, life-long practice of studying the Bible because of a love for the Word of God as the foundation of faith. CRFM 101 – First Year Christian Formation Jesus People

Course Description
A deep dive into wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ. Topics include but are not limited to: the secret place, humility and honor.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) surrender to Jesus as disciples who are being formed into the image of Christ, (2) a genuine, intimate relationship with Jesus in the secret place, and (3) a heart of honor and humility looking to Jesus as our example. Through the course readings, class lectures and discussion, and the completion of course assignments, students should be able to fulfill the course objectives.


CRFM 102 – First Year Christian Formation
Devotion & Spiritual Discipline

Course Description
A deep dive into wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ. Topics include but are not limited to: purity, first-love, and daily devotion.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) spiritual disciplines in undivided devotion to Jesus and who live a life in purity before Jesus, (2) surrender to Jesus as disciples who are being formed into the image of Christ, and (3) disciples of Jesus who choose the one thing that is needed–to sit at the feet of Jesus and learn from Him (Luke 10:42). Through the course readings, class lectures and discussion, and the completion of course assignments, students should be able to fulfill the course objectives.

CRFM 202 – Second Year
Christian Formation Devotion & Spiritual Disciplines

Course Description
A deep dive into wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ. Topics include but are not limited to: purity, first love, and fellowship with the Lord.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) spiritual disciplines in undivided devotion to Jesus, (2) a life lived in purity before Jesus, and (3) disciples of Jesus who choose the one thing that is needed–to sit at the feet of Jesus and learn from Him (Luke 10:42). Course Description
A study of the importance of biblical marriage, raising of children and families with an emphasis on the significance of the role in the Body of Christ. Topics include but are not limited to: marriage, children, the Church family, and covenant family.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) a godly, holy knowledge and value of marriage and family, (2) an understanding of covenant as expressed by the Lord in His value for covenant family through the communal nature of the Holy Trinity, and (3) disciples of Jesus who understand their role as a member of the Body of Christ. Through the course readings, class lectures and discussion, and the completion of course assignments, students should be able to fulfill the course objectives.

MTRY 101 – First Year Ministry
Healing & Deliverance

Course Description
A survey of the responsibility and role of serving as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Topics include, but are not limited to: the promise of healing, healing in Jesus’s ministry, communion and authority.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) an accurate understanding of the ministry of healing and deliverance, (2) humble, servant-hearted ministers of the Gospel, and (3) disciples of Jesus who go out from the place of His presence to minister to healing and display the Lord’s miracle working power. Through the course readings, class lectures and discussion, and the completion of course assignments, students should be able to fulfill the course objectives.


MTRY 201 – Second Year
Ministry Public Ministry

Course Description
A survey of the responsibility and role of serving as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Topics include, but are not limited to: preaching Jesus, surrendering to the Holy Spirit, the power of worship, missions, and the harvest.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) an understanding of preaching Jesus and Him crucified, (2) deeper surrender and dependence on the Holy Spirit, and (3) the great commision and the harvest of souls. Through the course readings, class lectures and discussion, and the completion of course assignments, students should be able to fulfill the course objectives.


THEO 101 – First Year Christology
The Gospel & The Person of Jesus

Course Description
A survey of the Gospel and the person of Jesus Christ. Topics include but are not limited to: the ministry, life, burial, resurrection, ascension, Pentecost, and return of Jesus.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) knowledge of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, (2) ministers who can effectively and accurately communicate the gospel, and (3) disciples of Jesus who are equipped and activated to preach the Gospel in evangelism and outreach. Through the course readings, class lectures and discussion, and the completion of course assignments, students should be able to fulfill the course objectives.


THEO 201 – Second Year
Christology
The Gospel & The Person of Jesus

Course Description

THEO 102 – First Year
Pneumatology The Holy Spirit

Course Description
A survey of the study and experience of the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit. Topics include but are not limited to: fellowship with the Holy Spirit, baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) knowledge about the Person and ministry of the Holy Spirit, (2) disciples of Jesus who have a personal relationship and friendship with the Holy Spirit, and (3) ministers of the Gospel who walk in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit. Through the course readings, class lectures and discussion, and the completion of course assignments, students should be able to fulfill the course objectives.


THEO 202 – Second Year
Pneumatology
The Gifts & Mission of the Holy Spirit

Course Description
A survey of the study and experience of the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit. Topics include but are not limited to: the power of the Holy Spirit, the habitation of the Holy Spirit, and preaching in the Holy Spirit.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) knowledge about the Person and ministry of the Holy Spirit, (2) disciples of Jesus who have a personal relationship and friendship with the Holy Spirit, and (3) ministers of the Gospel who walk in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit. Through the course readings, class lectures and discussion, and the completion of course assignments, students should be able to fulfill the course objectives.


LEAD 101 – First Year Leadership
Servant Leadership Practicum

Course Description
This course is a year-long integrative learning experience where Jesus School provides students experiential training and service learning opportunities in practical ministry areas of serving and leading.

Objectives
This course seeks to accomplish Jesus School’s mission for teaching and training students whose one ambition is to love Jesus and His presence, who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who are biblically rooted and theologically formed by fostering (1) fostering knowledge about the humility and servant-heartedness of Jesus, (2) providing opportunities for service and leadership in practical ministry, and (3) developing disciples of Jesus who serve and lead in humility and excellence from a place of rest, motivated by love for Jesus and His people. Completion of this course is equivalent to 90 hours of service learning engagement in addition to the completion of assignments.
